I'm Carl. I build Starseer, an AI security platform that looks inside models
instead of just watching what they output. Before that I did vulnerability
research at Cisco Talos, uncovering and addressing vulnerabilities across
a spectrum of systems.

Basilisk Labs is my personal brand, named after the mythological king of
serpents. This blog lives under it.

When I am not shipping code or hunting CVEs, I am building things that move.
I have built three Voron printers from scratch. A Trident, a V0, and a
Switchwire. I spend an unreasonable amount of time chasing resonance
artifacts, dialing in toolheads, and printing parts I absolutely did not need.

This blog is where I write about infrastructure, AI security, reverse
engineering, Rust, Kubernetes, and whatever else breaks or fascinates me
this week.
